Looking for some advice;
I recently got back from doing Bear Tooth Mountain ride, and my bike was acting up, coughing, back firing and basically running like crap. Now this is a new bike i just picked up, its a 2006 Electra Glide Classic, with a new Harley long block and air intake was changed. I did install 4" Rinehart racers slip ons, and asked dealership if i needed a ECM flash or tuner since i added slip ons, I was told i didn't. Now i asked dealership about the bike running like crap, and they tell me i should prolly get a tuner/dyno done. My bike doesn't have 02 sensors, so will this be something i need to add, or do they make a tuner that doesnt need 02 sensors? Also I was thinking of putting on true duals before the tuner/dyno, is this a smart idea or not?
your dyno operator will either use his o2 sensors in the exhaust bungs (presuming that it has them) or be able to temporarily install them another way to use during tuning. your 2006 will still be open loop.
