Stutter when accelerating fast
I build a Custom bike from Twin Cam Roadking 2006
Didn't use the EFI and convert it to carb. Here's the spec :
Carb : Mikuni HSR45
CDI & Ignition Coil : Thunderheart
Regulator-Rectifier : OEM Harley
Plug : Dragspecialities
Open Belt Ultima
Ultima Gearbox
The bike runs great when i accelerate slowly.
But when i accelerate fast it would stutter for couple seconds. It's more noticeable on the 1'st and 2'nd gear.
It still happens but very mildly on 3'rd gear, and none of the stutter happen on 4'th gear forward.
Again, the stutter only happens if i accelerate fast..
when i'm cruising around.. the stutter is not there.
Any idea guys what is the cause of this stuttering?
on hard acceleration, the chamber is a hostile environment and the ign must be up to snuff
then there is a mix issue which could be jetting, accel pump and etc. the machine could be going lean
then there could be exh/reversion issue
best approach is to one tweak at a time and record results, if not, when you fix it you will not known what the fix was.

Started to think if it's the exhaust that causing the issue..
