2003 flhr code 99
I have a 2003 Road King w/carb that I was trying to retrieve the trouble code(s) for the breaker popping after 2-3 miles of riding, to see if it's the crank position censor, one of the coils or whatever, but I get code-99 "Incorrect/Missing Password." I don't have a Harley key fob and the security is Digital Guard Dog, not a new one but a 2003 model. I'm the 2nd owner and the 1st is no longer around, so Idk if it had Harley security at one time but there is a 15amp fuse in the "security" slot in fuse block. Is there any means to bypass needing a password? I know the procedure for newer bikes using the odometer because every search brings up that and how to retrieve my codes...but nothing on what happens for code-99. Is a dealer the only option?

Don't know how to retrieve codes but if the breaker is popping at 2-3 miles, you probably need to replace it and clean up the crimp terminals going to it.. Resistance in the crimps overheat the breaker. Crank sensor or coils can't blow the main breaker.
