Yes. 944 is in the basic settings of map 790. I changed the idle to 1024 and the speedo calibration to 40960

Is the throttle body 05 or earlier?

That I am not certain of. I bought the bike used. It had motor work done to it. Millennium jugs, fueling gear drive etc. It had the HPI throttle body on it. The bike is an 06... quite possible that its an 05 or earlier throttle body.

Maybe it's not. Got a picture of the throttle body?

I would think that the PN of the IAC you have been buying would be specific to the 05 and earlier or 06 and later.

I can't tell from the picture whether its a new or old throttle body. The places to look are the TPS and the fuel rail. Here is a picture of early and late. Early on top and late on the bottom.

The TPS and fuel rail on mine match the one on the bottom in your pic. I've been buying IAC's from harley for an '06 FLHT. There are no numbers on the throttle body to determine model or year. Is there a way to figure that out?

So your wiring should not be modified. Use the 06 wiring diagram to get the IAC stepper motor wiring correct.

You have a HPI throttle body. (marked) I would guess it's hpi 55 or 55/58.

There may be something wrong with the throttle body, could be something wrong with the tmax. The stepper motor controller in the tmax may be blown. Either way there is a process called a side stand test that you can perform and collect data then send to thunder-heart. They should be able to tell you what's wrong from the data.

Have you checked for intake manifold leak.

I found the test you are doing, it's nothing more than a IAC stepper motor test. It is not a calibration procedure. If you see the point moving, you know the thing is working. Once don't the value value need to be set to whats in the basemap. It has nothing to do with idle calibration.

Again one you've fixed the wire issue, found the IAC working, pull the fuse, install and do the standard install procedure.

I'm leaning towards another intake leak. I've fixed 2. Cracked o-ring on the front cylinder injector. New intake seals. HPI has a seal/ o-ring rebuild kit for 55mm throttle bodies. I'll start there. Thank you for your time and responses. 👊
