Is that air filter supposed to be black? If not then clean the that damned air filter. And then +1 to check injector wires, if that is good then fuel pressure check, if that is bad fuel filter since you'll be in the tank anyhow and look at the fuel lines from the pump to the regulator and from the regulator to the outlet, these lines are the ones folks talk about. They are not as common to go bad as people like to act they are just more overlooked initially, if those are good then regulator and if that doesn't fix the fuel pressure issue then pump. That would be the order that I would work the issue. If fuel pressure is good then look at ignition.
How many miles on the bike ? Iif you have full intentions of going into the tank to change the fuel filter , I would just go ahead and replace the hoses and regulator as well , not that much $$ .
Have you checked for error codes ? Like M.H stated , check injector connectors and wiring . Try wiggling the injector wires while idling and see if that cures the issue , might work .
No busted injector wire. Yes the filter looks like that.
Fuel line had a pin hole by the check valve. Replaced fuel line, fuel pump, fuel regulator, fuel filter, regulator and all the lines inside the tank. Runs perfect now.
