OEM. Only like $5 each. I keep a dozen on hand, they don't go bad.

I personally use NGK in everything with no issue. YMMV.

Later model harley NGK or Nippondenso brands work very well. Use NGK platinums in the shovel.

Like oil, there are 11 refinery's and 7000 brand of oil.

Spark plugs are mostly made in china.

I do used the OEM HD ones, I like the HD symbol on them.

OP's bike, (like mine,) js an '02 early, carbureted Twin Cam with factory single fire ignition. No knock sensors, no 'computer.' I'm certain that these older bikes could care less what brand plugs they're running, as long as they cross reference to the factory Champion RJ-12's..

Later bikes? There maybe something to sticking with OEM as the bike (like many newer engines in general,) is more aware as to what's going on down in the cylinders.

Pulled both plugs last night. The first one was quite rich…sooty black and the other one was just about right. Not sure how one plug could be running so different unless it’s due for wire replacement.

I’m thinking that maybe I was running a richer plug because I replaced the loud lollipop baffles with V&H original baffles but one wouldn’t slide in all the way so it wasn’t in nearly as much as the lower exhaust pipe. Unequal back pressure maybe? I put the lollipop baffles back in and I’ll check the plugs in a couple of days.

Victory I had ran rich ( after pipes and performance chip ). It sometimes would foul a plug only on cold start, if they had couple thousand miles on them (Stock plugs or standard copper/plugs ). Switched to NGK Iridiums and never experienced another problem. Sold the bike w/several thousand miles and still ran/started great. I’m a big believer in them. They go in any vehicle I own. Best IMHO.
