Damn.
Replaced the injectors, it fired right up and purred.
Tested up and down the road, and within about 15 minutes it started sputtering and missing.
Made it back to the house where it died.
Same issue.

I've seen this before - the injector driver is failed. Happened to my buddies bike and we had to replace the ECM. Basically as soon as he started it, fuel started pouring like a hose. Only other thing it can be is the negative wire to that injector is rubbed through. I was shocked that you posted it was the injector - they rarely ever stick open.

The injectors have a 12 vdc feed to them when ignition is on and ready to go. they are pulsed by the ECM by virtually grounding the other wire. Perhaps that wire is exposed somewhere and touches ground, or the ECM fails by always having the injector output on. A multimeter might come in handy nailing this one down. If the same as my '03 the 12 vdc feed will be a Y/GN wire and the front output W/Y, the rear GN/GY.
Reference a factory service manual, and find where the injector low side switched wire is located in the ECM connector. Remove it from the connector, plug the connector back in to the ECM. Turn on the ignition. If the injector still squirts, then it’s likely the low side switched wire is grounded somewhere. If it doesn’t squirt even after shaking and twisting the wire harness, it’s most likely the ECM.
Thanks guys.
All the wiring is in good shape and clean, but I will check it again.
I hope its not the ECM....$$$.
Any of you guys have issues with the O-ring at the pump or pressure regulator?
Could an air leak near the pump or pressure regulator cause the ESM to run rich? (However, why would it only code rich in the front cylinder?)
Hmm.
