How To Richen Mixture
I am totally new to tuning and want only to richen the mixture a bit and do not want to reinvent the wheel.
I have a 2016 Freewheeler FLRT. The 103 engine is stock except for an Arlan Ness Big Sucker Air filter. The pipes are a set of Vance & Hines.
I have the SESTP and have flashed the canned Stage 1 map.
The only change that I want to make is to richen the mixture without learning how to do an auto tune.
From what I have read lowering the AFR a few percent down to the 14.0 range in the 20 to 70 MPH range should give me some performance improvement and may result in the engine running a bit cooler.
Thought I’d ask the experts here if those are reasonable numbers and if there is anything else I should be doing like making an increase in the fuel flow??? If yes, any suggestions?
