Mapping with TTS MasterTune
I have 2016 Sportster 883 and have changed it to a 1200. I hooked up the TTS to my bike I realized it doesn't come with mapping. I have no clue on how to get mapping for my bike which I was planning on doing it myself but not sure where to start now.
Any suggestions on how to get mapping info? I am very frustrated and ready to toss the TTS

You should not use 80ci as your displacement however, use something like 78 (yes, even this is a little large).
The timing for a 1200 is less aggressive than 883. I would highly recommend going to the Hammer Performance
website and reading all of the information they have available (there is alot).
------------------
On Mastertune, enter this timing map, or a reasonable facsimile, for both cylinders:
Yes, set the displacement to 80. If you do these two things, it will be safe to run.
Optionally, set your AFR table like this, we've found it runs better than the factory AFR table which is way too heavy on the closed loop stuff:
One you're 20 miles or so into the gentle break-in, run your first Vtune session.
-------------------------------
My Iron runs great. I still have not changed any timing values. I need to get it to a dyno....
hope this helps,
T.
After updating with the new Feb releases, here's what I see for a 2016 883.
I am assuming the OP still has the 883 gearing which is why I chose this file....
------
File Name: SXA374-03-A2.MT9
Application: 2014-2017 Sportster
Configuration: 883 with Air Cleaner
Components:
-- A/C and Breather Kit
hope this helps,
T.
