When tuning with a SERT for example, you are doing the various TP's, and at certain RPM's ....
Even though those Lower RPM's weren't touched, they still need blended out to provide a smooth transition, and the same goes for the intervals of TP's......
You really don't want a 30 unit spike from one cell to the next corresponding unit....
The VE tables, Ign tables and others (Warmup, decel, accel, etc) must have transitional values....
This applies to ALL EFI management units......
You can tell the "Throttle Whackers" from the analytical "Incrimental/Step Tuners" by looking at your tables.....
Yes you can and I have spent WAY more time than I should have learning this thing and riding, recording adjusting than I should have. I paid to have it done, I just can't get it done right. I will say however that the delivered blended map 159pz004loaded straight away had the same exact issues in the same exact places on my bike. The only difference was it ran like kaka. So it is the whole combination of things that I hope a change in baffles will address. If not, I give up until the warranty expires and I do some engine mods...
