Hi all. My 500 is basically new. It has 120 miles on it, I brought it home from Florida where it sat in my garage for far too long. It was serviced last fall before being garage stored for the winter. It’s plugged into a maintenance charger at all times & I start it at least once per month during the winter. A few weeks ago in preparation for the summer I replaced the battery, rode it up & down a long driveway & then parked it in the garage. I’ve not been able to start it since (never been a problem). It turns, kill switch is off, tested all fuses, plugs fire, gas in the tank……I’m at a loss & the nearest dealer is a 4 hour drive away. Could it be a bad relay ? Is there something simple I need to check before I breakdown & take it to the dealer ? It’s the model without the fob, just a key. Thanks in advance.
well, if you are getting fire that leaves fuel. since you are getting fire that says the crank sensor is operational so the ecu will also base the injectors off it so that leaves pressure.
if you have a noid or test light you can check the injector pulse. some systems will shut down if there is an issue with the injectors but since you have spark, not likely. honda is like this with their preprogrammed fuel injection system.
you need to confirm your fuel pressure before you move on to anything else. If you dont have the tools or knwledge for this, you're gonna need to take it into the shop.

can you hear the fuel pump come on?, If not, may be an issue with the pump or wiring to the pump. Check that and see as well as all fuses. just basic check. But I agree, if you don't have the tools like a DVM carry it into the shop and save time and even money.
