how to enter Diagnostic mode on a 01 flstfi fatboy with a delfi system
I have an 01 fatboy and got a check engine light that comes on while I ride, I need to enter the diagnostic mode to determne what the code means.
the problem is I don't know how to enter the diagnostic mode. there are at least 3 diferent ways to enter this mode depending on your year and model.
I know that the older bikes 98-00 have one way and 01-03 have another and 04-current also have another way I have found post on every other bike but mine.
My motorcycle is an 01 FLSTFI fatboy with fuel injection and it uses a delfi system can someone please let me know or direct me to where I can find out how to enter this mode.
I would like to go into the dealer knowing whats going on cause the dealers in my area tend to lean towards the ripping you off way, or even better I can probably fix it my self...
any help would be useful
