FLSTF charge woes
Hi-new member here.I seem to be having a charging problem on my 2000 FLSTF.I had an original 7 yr. battery that went flat and asuming the age of it installed a new one.It let me down again.I've checked the stator output-good.I'm not quite so sure about the regulator.Any quick check here ?I also checked the terminals at the main 30-amp breaker,some corosion-but it cleaned up good.The bike starts good,runs great,everything works for about 50 miles until the battery goes down again.-Thanks-Dan.

Start bike, with all the lights on, brake on, idling, what's the voltage across the battery? Rev to 2-3K, what's the voltage? Turn off bike. What's the voltage?
