help i'm stumped
I have a 2003 xl883C that a girl took a beating to, knocked in over four times left side and ripped out my plug wires while in motion. Now my bike will start fine and run fine but when it goes around six miles it acts like it runs out of gas and wont start for about two hours and then the same thing all over again. Any ideas??????
I've already done plugs,wires,coil,vacume lines,carb has been rebuilt,pit **** and gas tank drained and cleaned. I dont want to pay harley a butt load in labor for something simple so please help if you can. Thanx!!!!!!!!

There are a few suggestions I may offer.#1 Start associateing with women not girls,women are domesticated and have more class,they'll shoot you and leave your motor alone.#2 Check for a damaged or plugged vent line or fuel feed line or a line that is impropery routed and is vapor locking.Just a stab in the dark hope it helps.

New to replying,I probably should say that I have a 03 anniv. heritage and live in Panama City, Fla.I rode this A.M.98 miles.Our wives think we were out working. Happy and SAFE holidays to all of you.77@11-shortcurcuit

are you using the hd petcock? there's a vacuum line that runs behind it that affects the flow of fuel. could be that got yanked off when she pulled your plug wires. check it out.
