Does anyone make a complete kit to change a Carbed bike over to an EFI one? I searched the threads, but didn't find anything current or helpful in answering that question. Thanks for the info in advance.
Yeah you're right but I've been looking for the same thing and finally found it and one other: V-Twin Performance | HORSEPOWER INC | United States
If I found it someone else might as well and use the info for theirs. Hope it helps have a blessed Holidays

That system is for converting a Magneti Morelli EFI “dual” inlet TB system to a “single” (shared) inlet as used in later, Delphi systems.
My opinion is to start with a EFI bike as there are no really easy way to convert.
If it were me “needing” to convert I’d buy a wrecked ‘07 EFI bike I could strip all the EFI stuff including the wiring harness and ECM, gauges, sensors, etc.
Other than that it will be a PITA conversion at best!

That will only work if you already have the EFI bike for those years. You'd have to acquire all the other bits, like computer, fuel pump etc and add the stock stuff to your bike in order to use the kit outlined. So if you had a tired original stock EFI, that was causing you problems then this might be a good way to go.
I have 3 bikes with the first gen EFI - MM, 95 Electra Glide 30th Anniversary, 97 Road King and a 98 Ultra Classic/Street Glide already converted to a carb. I want to go back to EFI. The system from ThunderMax is a complete system with everything you will need to upgrade or convert back to EFI.

Going “back” to EFI is much easier than going from Carb to EFI due to EFI vs Carb wiring harness differences. A carb conversion needs less inputs than EFI so it’s easier to delete than to add to the system.

I have converted a few bikes from carb to EFI. Thayer use to make wire harnesses. Don't know if he still does. These harness are for the earlier Delphi bikes. So picking a TB that works is important. I like dyna ECM's that will take level 176 cals but I have mostly done FXR's and Dyna's. There are plates that can be welded into tanks for a XL style pump. I jump the pins that are suppose to go to the TSM or TSSM. Having a pretty good handle on EFI and what difference are out there from model to model is a must. Even simple things like there are two different IAC motors out there. One is pinned out as 1,2 are a pair and some have 1,4 as the pair for the stepper motor.
Here is one I am doing for my brother. He is a traveling tradesmen so we work on it together when he is in town. 2010 bagger drivetrain.
You can also buy all the connectors and make your own wire harness. These are NOT special HD sourced connectors. They are basic connectors that are all over GM and Fords. Single retail price for connector and pins in on top of the box along with DS part numbers. The expense is buying a decent set of positive release crimpers.
IMO and my preference. If I was going to FI a bike and the HD Delphi ECM was not going to fit the need. If I was looking at aftermarket stand alones. I would not be looking at anything this industry has to offer and would not go Tmax or DTT (if that is still available) There are much better products out there that do more and more user friendly. They certainly are more work and require more understanding of how EFI works, and how Harley gets crank angle without a home sensor wheel on the cam.
The other option that is always out there. Find a competent shop and pay them to deal with it.
