Code p1351
05 fatboy, limped home on rear cylinder only. put new coil on. still no go. Shows code p1351. any ideas-help. Something simple? Take it in to stealership? Thanks in advance.

1351 is 'front ignition open' no spark, if you replaced the coil and still no spark check your compression. If the crank position sensor doesn't see compression in the cylinder it won't deliver a spark or an injector pulse, the cylinder will be dead.

Thanks Doc, I had not considered that. I have a suspicion it might be an injector failing as when it happened it sputtered between normal power and one cylinder limp a few times before settling on running just the rear cylinder. Once the crank sensor would go out it would just be gone wouldnt it?It also showed a 260-series code which I think is something about injectors. Your opinion still the same?
