I talked with a mechanic friend of mine that is having trouble diagnosising a fuel injection problem on a customers 2003 FI Road King. When the bike first starts it will sometimes idle at half throttle. The idle issue persists even when it warms up. Like it has a mind of its own. Module is not throwing any codes. Anyone run into this or something similar? I'd "think" it's one of the sensors, but which one??? Hates to just start swapping parts...

 

He should check the settings on the TPS and the IAC to see if they are reading correctly, then also check the cables to make sure of proper tension and seating of the cables they might be too tight? Just a thought of my starting points.
