possible TSSM problem/open short

possible TSSM problem/open short
Woops! had this on another pg.[sm=biker2.gif]
I own a 2001 Electraglide 95". Branch heads/560 Andrew gear cams/JE pistons and so on.
3 years ago I installed LED front turn signals and stock rear. I installed a HD TS regulator. Worked fine up until 2 weeks ago. It would always flash 4 times and the go into a rapid flash, I would then turn them off. The regulator looks as it has gotten hot.
I have checked the complete wiring sys for open shorts, nothing. One more symptom, sometimes, when I fire it up, the left TS will fluctuate voltage but when I rev it, it will go back normalbright. Also, at night, I sometimes can see the left TS indicator a dim green. Even when I shut it down this did ts indicator will stay on for a short while. I would think this is telling me I still have an open short somewhere or the codes in the TSSMneed to be re-loaded or possibly a bad TSSM.
Any thoughts that may aim me in the right direction?
