Angry Coil problems
HI GUYS NEW HERE ...I BOUGHT A 94 SPORTSTER 883 WITH 1200 UP DATE...WORK WAS DONE IN 98..IT HAS A SINGLE FIRE HIGH INTENITY COIL..IT RUNS ABOUT 1O MILES PERFECT THEN .IT LOSES POWER SEEMSLIKE IT RUNNIN ON ONE CYLINDER. I CHANGED THE PLUGS BRAND NEW WIRES AND NEW BATTERY.STILL THE SAME ....I HAVE HAD THE COIL OUT 2 TIMES NOW HAD IT CHECKED TODAY THEY DIDNT KNOW THE SPECS OR SOMETHING. YOU THINK ITS THE COIL OR THE IGNTION MODUAL...SOME GUYS TOLD ME IF THE IGNTION MODUAL WAS BAD IT WOULD NOT START...THE COIL IS 190 DOLLARS AND NON RETURNABLE....I ALSO CLEANED THE PIT **** AND THE CARB I THOUGHT IT WAS NOT GETTING GAS ..BUT IT IS ITS JUST NOT BURNING IT.I THINK WOULD A BAD COIL ACT LIKE THIS....

have a friend take his good one off of his bike and try it on yours. that's the cheapist way to see if yours is bad.
