2003 Fat Boy EFI Running Issues
2003 fatboy efi
Short verson bike cuts out seems like throttle position related. Light throttle runs fine mid throttle sputters or cuts out mid to high seems to run ok.
Have tried with and with out Power comander runs the same.
Have tried know good TPS, Temp sensor, and crank triger.
Dont have a scanner so cant ck Map Values or other sensors.
Has set no codes .
Long Version.
OL bike runs like garbage has run fine for a long time. Started acting up on a ride see above.
Tried a know good TPS and Head temp sensor same thing.
Unhooked power commnder same thing.
Took the bike to Independent shop because I dont have a scanner (I own an automotive shop and am ASE cert in all the Car crap just dont have a harley scaner) they looked at it pulled the tank blamed a fuel filter put in back together same thing.
Then they replaced the injectors same thing.
Then they tell me it has an intake leak . So im out of town My OL picks up the bike it still runs like garbage they charge her 400 bucks and she takes it home.
I put intake gaskets in it last night and guess what it still runs like garbage.
Any input appreciated Im thinking Map Sensor maybe,
