Wire Extention Help
Hello,
I am working on my 07 RKC. I am installing 16" Apes on her. I was working on it today for about 5 hours and i am stuck on the wiring. Specifically, getting the current wires out of the connector in order lengthen the wires. I followed what the Service Manual stated, but, still cant get the current ones out. I have used safety pins, dental tools and still nothing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

They can be tough, I pop the retainer and rubber seal out of the back then, use a paper clip,dental pic,mig wire,etc. push it into the tiny hole in the face of the connector till you feel it hit the detent, I then us a needle nose plier on the wire pine to carefully push it out.
Note carefully they are fragile.
