blowing fuses fast n furious this past weekend to the headlight, which of course tales the passing light out with it on my 06 SG.
Its a blue wire for power at the fuse block. So have followed this up through the harness then of course it changes to a ywllow and white and black for the headlamp hi/low and ground. Only will blow fuses when moving, not sitting still idling, revving, twisting bars left to right , jumping up and down on the seat! LOL
Split the fairing of course and the LH clam shell on the bars, Everything looks just fine, cant find an un-insulated spot or pinched wire and meter reading at all junction blocks etc...seems to be in order.
Jump on ride it a little ways and POOF out goes the fuse again.

I think your problem may lie within one of the passing lamp housings. they're notorious for this sort of thing. one would think that HD woulda figured out by now that running wires down through a steel (or metal) nut post would eventually cause a short with as much as these bikes vibrate. put a plastic sleeve inside that post to keep the wires from chaffing... i used a plain old straw
