LED stop/taillight
I want to put a LED replacement in the stop/taillight of my '92 Sportster. I might consider a "blinking" one while on the brakes. Any suggestions? Will I need a load equalizer to do this?

Normally a load equalizer is only used on turn signals because the LED's when in the turn signal circuit do not draw enough current to allow the flasher ckt to make them flash correctly. When being used as a standard running light or a brake light you don't normally need a load equalizer because they are not going to be blinking or routed though the turn signal flashing ckt.
Now if you are getting an LED product that states it will flash in some pattern be it adjustable or not, then the ckt is already made for it to be a flasher when the brakes are applied and functions independently from the turn signal circuit.
