2007 Sportster 883 not functioning

Suddenly I have no power to my Sportster. No lights coming on and no ignition, no odomoter read-out, nor alarm indicator light.

I had just ridden to the store and when I wanted to leave the bike was completely unresponsive. Any ideas what the source of the issue could be? (Battery is brand new)

Is there 12 vdc at the battery?????

This is a known issue... water will intrude and cause a short at the system relay, draining the battery....

I now have power on ACC. But when I switch to ignition the power goes out. If I switch to ignition and the start button at the same time, I hear one click from starter and the power goes out.

I have 12 vdc (assuming 12 volt battery?)...and nothing wet in that area.

2007 Sportster fails to fire

I am having the same issue. I hear the clank of the solenoid pulling the bendix gear into the flywheel (?) then the display goes dark. If I turn the key to ACC I get indication like there is power but if I turn the key back to ON, everything go dark again. If I rock the bike back and forth in gear I can sometimes get power back. I've checked the battery connections, high amp fuse on positive side of battery, every connection I can find, but nothing seems to make a difference. Yes the battery is fully charged.
Can anybody help out this retired Navy Chief

I am having this exact problem this morning. Was it the relays? Did replacing them help/fix?

Check the cable going to the starter at the starter connection. They have been known to corrode under the plastic insulator were the lug is connected.
