Default making changes to a map

when making changes to a SEST map (e.g., 176AE106) and saving changes it seems to default to save as 176AE106-001. Is this acceptable? does it matter what i call it , for example could i name it "176AE106-modified", or does it have ot be a certain file name..?

You can save it as what ever you like but the .001 is good. Next time you change and save, it will default to .002. Easy to find the last map in your bike. A good idea is to edit the file comments with what has been changed.

Make sure you make the comments on what you did because some stupid f**king idiots end up with 57 maps all starting with the same prefix and can't remember WTF they did on each one.....

Don't ask me how I know this.....
