Default Which Plug Wire Goes Where?

On my 97 Electraglide I don't know which plug wire goes where. Does anyone know? Does the one on the left side of the ignition box go to the front jug or the back jug? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

Traditionally it's been dual spark so it didn't matter. Top is rear and bottom is front, the long one is the front one, the short one the rear. Maybe in the future use a digital camera when taking stuff apart so you can be sure to put them back the same way.

PS: Hum, 97, left/right, perhaps never mind.

Yea, on a '97 it is left and right. I did take a lot of pics using a digital camera, but they don't do any good when the camera gets lost. I had the bike down to just a frame and motor, now I have to put it together with no pics. Thank god for service and parts manuals.

Well, on my sporster the right is connected to the rear, but the manual doesn't say. I might have gotten the terminology wrong but I believe both fire at the same time and each twice as often as needed.

Well, you have two pistons, and therefore a 50/50 chance to get it right on the first shot. if it doesn't work, swap em.
