Fuelpak and mode 23

Fuelpak and mode 23
I have a fuelpak on my 08 Fatboy with V&H Big Radius and a Screaming Eagle hi volume breather. It makes this horrible noise when the throttle is released and I've learned it is fuel being shut off and the motor just pumping air. It sounds so bad, I'm considering reinstalling the stock air cleaner and disconnecting the fuelpak.
But I just read in the dyna forum that mode 23 can be set to 25 instead of 16 which is the value given by V&H. Which won't turn the fuel off anymore.
My question is, is mode 23 the same for all bikes? That may sound like a dumb question, but I don't want to just start changing values because of something on another forum for a different style of bike.
So does anyone have advice on this? Thanks

I think I remember that mode 23 is the same for most applications. You can always change the setting and see if it makes a difference. Try calling the V&H tech dept. and get someone on the phone to clarify it for you.
Also, that SE intake just might be sucking in a little too much air for that motor.
