Laptop tuning Question
To the guys that use v-tune software, would the vibrations of the bike possibly damage the hard drive on a laptop while your recording data during a ride? Have a HP pavillion and was concerned about ruining the drive platters.

It's very possible if you hit a bump large enough to shake your bones. I use a 10 year old laptop for road tuning and use a car wash sponge to soften the vibrations. I've use it on touring bikes, softails and dyna's with and without bags. I've roped, bungee'd and duct taped the computer to stay on again with no damage. Not going to tell you it can't happen but you should be careful and take measures against damage.
