Which usb to parallel adapter are you using and what is the OS? Your driver for the adapter may be out of date. Check the support for the adapter and download the latest driver.

I had the same problem until I installed the proper driver.

thanks AJ
I have updated all and have run on three different computers with a combination of serial and USB connections - including updating drivers, and unistalling drivers to let the software notice new hardware and install the correct driver from blank.
I have even had my computer technician to reset all and try in case I was up the creek somehow - but all to no avail.
It still finds com ports but 'no module found' even though it will cause the bike to respond with noises etc but no connectivity apart from that.

Any one else able to shed some light on my predic.

Ta mates
