So i went on line and downloaded the the firmware for my thundermax, but when i try to upgrade the module it tells we that the file is not a thuderhart data file. when i down loaded it i used the smartlink software and just went to check for firmware update and it found it and saved it. WHY wont it work?

Well i was just messing around and thought i would update the smartlink software and that worked. Was then able to get the new firmware to load. Put about 200 miles on the bike after the new firmware and my next question is do i need to change something to get the decel pop to stop or will the tmax now auto tune it out?
