thunder-max question
I installed the thunder-max and have put quite a bit of miles on it in the last couple of days. the thing is i don't know if it's auto-tuning or not. I think i put on 150+ miles on it from highway to back roads and it seems exactly the same as it did when I put it on. Lot of popping on decel. just dosen't seem right. maybe i missed something?

I am certainly no expert, but I'll try to help with what I know.
Do you have the closest map? It will only adjust up to 5% per session by default.
Describe bike and give map number.
So if you are not close, it can take several sessions.
I think TMax defines a session as 30 minutes of run time.
After 30 min., stop and cycle the ignition.
You can get several sessions per ride that way.
Plus, only 20% total by default.
This is under the closed loop settings.
Is the closed loop box ckecked?
Later versions of the software and firmware have features to help with decel popping.
What is the software and firmware version? Link and go to about under help.
The software should be updated and the latest released firmware is 4.4.
Go into monitoring and watch you AFR numbers to see if your O2 sensors are functioning at least at idle.
Did you initialize the unit exactly as discribed. 3 cycle and then start and let come to temp thing?
Answer as many of these question as you can and I bet we can help.
Good luck.
