I just installed a thundermax that was pre-loaded with a map from zippers. I believe i do not have to link to my laptop at all due to this. Am i correct? Also just took it for a spin and it seems that when i let off the throttle it takes longer than usual to idle down, will that go away?

 

I would still go through the setup procedure. you need to save your base mapp.
