ticking, clicking noise from my 08 flhr

after riding a few miles my Roadking starts making a clicking noise. I have heard that I need to change out the stock oil pump with a fueling pump and fueling lifters. does anyone else know of this problem and if so any ideas on what I need to do to fix it??

If you're talking about at idle, it sounds like the oil thinned as the bike got warmer, that's all. I don't think there's anything wrong, and bigger oil pumps/lifters won't change that. I'm running Black OPs lifters, and my motor still ticks when warm.

its not at idle its on acceleration. I dont have a clue and dont want to spend money to fix something that wont help.

Is it pinging then? ( knock, pre-ignition..)

Not to sound crazy but are you sure you don't have a exhaust leak. I had one bike that had a tick on acc and thats what it turned out to be.
