Default HD Code Reader

Thinking about buying a 32312-10 code reader. I know you can pull the codes from the speedo display, but the ability to clear codes by punching a single button seems more appealing than 50 key cycles to clear codes.

Anyone have one? Worth the money?

You can clear codes on the speedo. After reading the code press the odo reset button again. It will say clear. Then hold the odo button down for 5 sec. There you go!

You can clear codes with your tuner if you have the cables.

From what I understand, the method you suggest will clear a current code but not the historic codes.

I know I can use the race tuner (I do have the software and cables for both SERT and SEPST) but it seems easier to use a code reader than dragging the laptop out.

You cannot clear a current code until it goes historic

Complete waste of money if you already have sepst software. Drag out the laptop takes how much effort???
