What is the best tool to use to separate pins from connectors? I seem to be doing this quite frequently and I know a pin is sufficient, but looking for a permanent fixture in my toolbox.

I prefer to just use a medium duty, extra stiff paperclip. Just take the end that is on the outside and straighten out the first bend. the rest can be used as a handle and the pin part works great for releasing the catch on the pins inside the connector.

Or you can special order one of these from you local HD stealership.
