Security signal / blinker problem
Hi, been reading posts for a while, but first time posting.
I took off my inner fairing to have it painted.
When I put it all back together I'm having a problem with what I think may be the security system, but I'm not sure.
When I turn the ignition switch to on the bike will start and run but the red security lamp light (shaped like a key) comes on and the left turn signal will not work. The right will.
However if I turn the ignition on and off, then on again the security light is no longer on when the bike is started, and the left turn signal will work.
After the bike has been running, when I turn it off (the turn signal lights should now flash showing the security system is set), however, the left one flashes first once, then goes off. Then the right signal flashes twice.
The security system is working, if the FOB is not present the bike will not start.
What should I do to fix this?

First check all the connections and make sure none of the pins are bent or slightly pushed out from being plugged and unplugged.
It has to be something you have touched in the fairing so keep on looking.
Check for error codes as well and see if there are any.
