Audio System Upgrade
I haved a '97 FLHTC Ultra that I want to exchange the original audio system. Original has Intercom/Radio/CD/Cassette(what is this) I want to replace it with a unit that has a CD player. We tried to use a unit for an '06-'07. Problem is it is way too wide and too tall. Will not fit into the fairling. Also the original unit is hard wired and the new ones use a multi-pin plug. After all this, my question is 2 parts. Does anyone know a unit that will match my needs or will the fairing from a newer one fit my bike so I can install the upgraded audio unit. I think with a schematic from Harley we can figure out which wires go where to add the appropriate plug.
