Will Turn Over, Will Not Start
Prior to replacing my regulator, all guages worked properly. Now the fuel light blinks (and I'm sure this means something).
What I've checked so far:
- The plugs are new, installed by the dealership. I removed and re-installed.
- I have checked the Fuel Pump and ECM fuses.
- I have tried the recommendation on these forums to "reset" the ECM by turning the ignition on for 30 seconds, off for 30 seconds and repeat 4 times.
- Battery has been fully charged by Tender.
- Gas tank is full of Premium gas!
Thanks to anyone who can offer up suggestions.
If you removed the tank, did you plug in the fuel pump connections and the fuel gauge connection.
While cranking, spray a little starter fluid into the intake to see if it will run briefly.
Also check your quick disconnect fuel line to be sure they are locked into place and no o-rings were dislodged.
I'll check all of these. The connections for the fuel pump and guage are plugged in. At 1st, immediately after assembly, the LED display lights for the fuel and battery would toggle back and forth. This prompted my charging.
The fuel pressure regulator on the '01's is external near the throttlebody (with the quick disconnect running right to it). I will pull it all apart and reassemble.
