Just installed the PCIIIusb, Rush Straight cut 1.75 baffles, and the K&N 3909 AC. I dont notice the hesitation or starting problems others are having, but i do get some pinging when i am heavy on the throttle, or when in 5th and 6th gear. I noticed yesterday that at 80 mph in 6th it would ping and at about 60 mph and increasing throttle it pings. I am not sure where to start with changing values on the PC and would like to know if others have experianced this and what was done to correct it.

Don't tell me this......I put Rinehart slipons last week and am waiting on PC from Fuelmoto. Also got the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. Jamie from Fuelmoto is setting up the PC for this. I have got the pinging, spark knock, like you talk about but was hoping that all the changes would remedy this........

Oh and i did this on an 07 ultra. It runs like a completly different bike power wise and i really am happy. I just need to get into the map and change a few things but i am just not sure where to start short of having it tuned professionally. Unfortunatly for me the closest tuner is about 90 miles away and may have to do it. Im in Tucson and no one here seems to tune PC's. The closest to me being in Mesa. So if i can retard the timeing or....i will try.

If you are running platinum plugs, swap back to standard HD plugs and see if the pinging goes away. Pinging is caused by fuel igniting out-of-time (no spark), platinum plugs can retain enough heat to ignite the air/fuel mix without sparking. Also, make sure you are running a "high quality" premium fuel. Try fueling at a different station than you normally do. I've seen regular unleaded come out of the premium pump at several of my local stations (usually the top names). I run CITGO 92 octane.

Using standard plugs, i have used different stations and always premium gas. I have checked for intake leaks, did have an exhaust leak due to not pushing slipon muffs far enough and fixed that. I did find a tuner in Tucson and am taking it in on Monday for a dyno tune. 250.00 bucks straight up. No hourly charge. Spoke with the tuner quite extensivly and he seems to know his stuff. Time will tell. Besides the pinging my 07 ultra is by far the best scoot i have owned to date and always clears out the days B.S. Will let you all know the results of the tune after getting some time in the saddle.
