Anyone can give me their two cents on the Power Commander V. I have a 13 Ultra that I just purchased V&H double slash slip ons and was looking to also purchase a Arlen Ness Big Sucker and finish it off with a Power Commander V.
Power Commander is a good fuel management device and there are a ton of happy folks out there using it.
Fuel Management devices will not give you the tuning abilities that full blown tuners give you but they are a good 2nd choice for those that don't want to fool with tuning.
I guess what it boils down to is if you're going to throw it on there and leave it alone, PCV is great. If you are going to want to tinker with other things such as VEs, Timing, etc. you'll need a full blown tuner.
I've been running a Power Commander V on my 2013 Ultra Limited for about three week. I am very happy with the power and ease of use. I did have to make adjustments to the maps that Fuel Moto loaded for me. I was getting 10 mpg less then the 42 mpg I was getting before the power commander. After the adjustments, I am now around 40 mpg and very happy with the PCV.
