Welcome to the forums. Go to www.vanceandhines.com and click on the Fuelpak category and then click on installation instructions for your model. It will show you in a .pdf file, it is really simple to do you just enter each value for each mode and click the mode button to go up to the next mode. Then you have to do the throttle calibration in mode 19 and check it in mode 21.

QUICK OVERVIEW OF V&H FUEL PACK SET UP>
1. Turn main power off on tank & handle bar switch.( if handle bar switch is forgot it cancause an error code on the bike)
2. install fuel pack, depending on model to were it gos
3.Disconnect factory connector from ECU, connect fuel pack black connector to the factory harness then connect fuel pack grey connector to factory ECU.
Set Up
Step 1.Remove clear cover
Step 2.Turn on main power & handal bar switch, but do not start engine, fuel pack display should light up. If not shut off power & check connections.
Step 3. Find proper settings for your exaust system, engine size, year modelfrom list of settings.
Step 4. Start with mode 1 inter value + or - as indicated by list specific to your applicationthen press mode button to move to mode 2 and enter next value for mode 2 of list, continue same processup to mode 18.
Step 5. After entering all the values up to mode 18 move to mode 19 with the engine off & fully twist the throttle to wide open & release. This calabrates the the Fuel pack to your bike.
Step 6. Go two mode 21 by pressing the mode button twiceand verify that it reads "00" with the throttle cloaced "50" at aproxamently half throttle and "99" when fully opened, if not repeat step 5. Do not proceed to step 7 until mode 21 is verified.
Step 7. Turn power off wait 1 to 2 seconds & turn power back on but do not start engine. Verify mode settings 1 through 18 then turn power off again.
Step 8. reinstall clear cover.
Step 9. Your ready to go.
