Problems programming ECM using race tuner.

I have a 2006 FXDI35 that has been tuned with a screaming eagle race tuner. Recently, I have needed to modify the warmup enrichment table to eliminate a hesitation,stumble, stall problem when cold. Well, the damn tuner stops at 20% and displays " ECM Access denied, Quitting". What's up with that? This tuner is already matched to the bike. The original calibrations were performed by Santa Fe Harley in 2007 and the tuner hasn't been used since. I've changed the serial adapter, com port and reloaded software to version 462 from 452. I've tried different tuner files but it always fails at 20%. I'm not willing to shell out another $500 for a tuner. Any help?

Do you have aftermarket gauges are anything like that? From my understanding. The first 18-20% of the operation is the program just checking communication with everything on the system. If something fails this communication. It will show a failure.
