It's hard when anyone goes down on their bike- Brad Winchester was more than just anyone...
U.S. Army Veteran and PGR Arlington National Cemetery Ride Captain Brad D. Winchester, 55 of Alexandria, VA. Brad departed this world on Wednesday night, October 3, 2007, while in transit on his H-D To Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after being hit by a truck with a trailer. Brad’s companion,Nancy Truitt, when proceeding to Brad’s aid, was struck down by anotherautomobile and tragically passed away a day later of massive trauma.
I hate to hear news like this. Two tragic deaths so close together. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the familys of both victims. Thanks for reporting this.
This is truly a tragic loss - both Brad & Nancy. Brad was my first Ride Captain after I joined the PGR for missions at Arlington in DC. Brad was very patriotic andinvolved in support to active and veteran military members and family members. He and she are missed and my thoughts go out to their families and friends.
