My dad, a true southern gentleman. Married my mom late in life. Married 50 years. Passed 2 weeks after their 50th anniversary.

WWII vetaran in the SeaBees. Machinist of machinists. Good provider. Loving husband.

1913 - 1996

My condolences on the death of your dad. He must have been a man of honor and your post, a fitting the tirbute to him. You're a good son.

He was a good man. In many ways. I have sorely missed him for these past 10 years. I miss having his wisdom to help me.

I understand about your dad. Too bad that there isn't a process that a person could do that would transfer the knowledge of one person to another. I think that it would be great to be as smart as my dad is. I understand about your loss, because mine will leave me someday and I'm not looking forward to it.
