Default For Dad.....

I lost my Dad in Jan of 02. He was my best friend. I was 29 and he was only 48. Too young to be taken from us. Still hurts everyday. We always talked about riding bikes together. He cant be here to ride into the sunset with me in body, but he is here in spirit. I posted some pics up on the Dyna section of my winter project but I did not post up these. This pic is very special. It is on the rear fender of my Wide Glide, just to make sure I always honor and respect him. He will always ride with me....Check out the pic. My kids had a pet name for him. It was Grumpy. Even though it started out as a mispronunciation from my kids. It stuck. The man was never Grumpy though. Always smiling, loved life and loved his family. Dad this paint and work on this bike is for you. This is dedicated to you in eternal honor!!!

My dad died in 91. I still miss him. But you live with it. My sympathies.
