A fellow soldier and man who served with me in Iraq for the past year passed away. He faithfully served in Iraq and came back to die on an Airborne Operation at Ft. Bragg, NC. Ironic sometimes how life is........from one of the most dangerous places in the world back here to have this happen.
For those in the Fayetteville, Ft. Bragg ara---come out and show your support on May 6. Sign up will be at 11am and roll out will be at 12pm. We will meet at Legends Pub and end at the same place where we will place a picture of him on the wall. All the money was to be donated to his family; but they asked the soldiers putting this ride together to donate the money to charity. His girlfriend will ride his Fatboy up front and we will follow her. ALL bikes are welcome and we have invited those without bikes to come also. This is a time when we could care less what type of bike you have or whether you have one at all. Hopefully, the turnout will be a good one by both civilians and the military members of his unit
Just in case u are a soldier and may wonder who this man is.....His name is Cpt Nathan King of Coprs Artillery. You may have read it in the paper or saw it broadcasted on the news.
Brian, sorry to hear about your fellow soldier. The fact that your here to share his life with us,& to share the sorrow of his lose is a tribute in its self. You lost a friend, then we lost a friend. My prayers to Cpt. Nathan King & his family,as well as prayers to you & yours.God bless you & all your fellow soldiers, who sacraficed everything & gave up nothing. My wife & my children thank all of you from their snug little beds,& a special thank you to Cpt. Nathan King.[sm=usa.gif]
