sorry I've been gone for so long...anyway, ROSES if you didn't run your line up and over through the head, how did you run your line?

I did not have to worry about it because mine was all on the right side of the bike. petcock, carb, fuel line etc. I only brought it up because you said you had a tank with left side petcock/ opening. I only know that even with all right side components I had problems if I did not pay attention. If your fuel line has to run between the heads you will have very hot fuel on a hot day.

Back to the front end for a minute... I just want to say that there is no need to run no front brake on a springer. There are a ton of aftermarket disc brake set-ups for both original Harley and all the aftermaket springer front ends out there. I say if it will make your bike more enjoyable for you then go for it! In my opinion Paughco makes the best aftermarket springers. There online catalog may help you decide... www.paughco.com
