So pumped for my next project. I just picked up a full custom 1982 XLH Sportster Hard Tail. This bike has a custom hand made frame from the head tube/steering neck all the way back. There so many custom pieces from the exhaust, aluminum tail light housing, rear fender, seat, gas tank, etc. Motor likely needs a top end and there are lots of wiring details that need to be cleaned up along with handle bar controls, front brake lines, seat cover, etc. I will post more pictures later as I just rolled it off the trailer before it got dark.
Since I need to pull the top end apart, I am sure I will be spending lots of time in this Forum group. Been wrenching on EVO's for the last 8 plus years but I am new to Iron heads and need to figure what is going on with the motor? G.B.
