I am asking for your opinions guys.
I have a ironhead that has it's original round air filter.
I want to make something new and that looks better so I plan to make a new on in aluminum with some writing on it.
I made a draw of that. What do you think ? does it looks good ?
Having both "since" and "to" makes it a bit awkward. Either "Since 1957" or "1957 to 1985" will work better, IMO
If it going to be chromed or painted a lively color the plainness will not matter.
You need more patience. Discussions on these forums go on for days or weeks. Never act on the first opinions posted. Always wait for better - it will come along.

Thanks for your advise
What do you think of changing the top writing. I mean to swap the 'harley davidson' for something like 'made in america' or ' american iron' ??
The Harley Davidson is OK at the top and the 1957 to 1985 at the bottom can both be one, same font, with the IronHead in the middle a larger and different font in bold - a font that reflects the vintage nature of the IronHead motorcycle - something that looks old
I just see the date of that post. 2-27-2023
It is been a long time since I got that idea. But finally it is real.
After a few modifications of course.
Tell me guys what do you think. does it look good ? .
I made a few and I have them listed on eBay in case some one want to have one.
