I've been MIA for a while due to some "technical issues." BUT back with a new ID. 77's been a lot of fun except for the ignition. Pulled the Dyna S off to inspect the advance unit. DAMN I caught it before it completely broke. Order new expensive hi quality one and installed it. That crap lasted 1 year. So, repeat with different hi quality advance unit. Same $hit deferent year. Put in a Dyna 2000i and lovin it! VOES wire grounded so as close to original advance curve as possible. 1st Test Ride. Early weekday morning after traffic died down headed about 12 miles away on back roads. Got to local hi-way (my hi speed test track) and came to full stop. NO traffic so I light it up. 6500 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 shifts. Quick glance at speedo . . . broke the ton. BIG smile all the way back home.
My Stock 1977 with Bendix carb and Points (stock remember, tho Bendix was allowed, as used previous years)
